Here's a quick interview with Brick By Brick an up and coming HC band from Troy, New York.

WL (Chris D'Alessandro):  When was Brick By Brick formed and who's in the band/what do they play?

BBB (Brick By Brick): We formed in 2004 and it's Mike Valente - guitar, Rory O'Brien - drums, Sean Green - bass and Rich Roberts - vocals.

WL: Where is Brick By Brick from?

BBB: Troy NY

WL:  What's it like there (scene, growing up etc...)?

BBB: Ghetto, depressed, very political, corrupt, There was a scene and it was forced out by city officials.

WL:  Has where your from influenced your music at all?

BBB: Yes, it helps being angry to write angry music.

WL: What are your lyrics about?

BBB:  Life - ups & downs.

WL:  Musical Influences?

BBB:  Everything from AC/DC to Slayer

WL:   Has Myspace been useful for getting exposure for your band?

BBB:  Absolutely

WL:  Where did you record your CD and what was it like to record it?

BBB:  We recorded half of it in Coney Island with Don Fury ( AF, SOIA, Madball...) and the rest in Albany at Scarlet East.
It took almost a year to complete.
                                                                                    
WL:  Tell the Wasteland readers a little about your CD.

BBB:  "Wings Of Angels" is a cross between metal and hardcore. It was a fun album to write and I think that it will be a nice addition to anyone's collection. There are 9 studio tracks and 7 live songs.

WL:  Any plans for touring?

BBB:  Yes, but we are waiting for the right situation. Merauder may take us with them next year.

WL:  Have you played in NJ yet, and what do you think of NJ?

BBB:  We played in NJ once with Agents Of Man and we had a ball. It was at Dingbatz. Jersey was well receptive.
