A Week In July:  Nearfatalexplosion
I really like the opening track; yep, I like the lyrics to
Nearfatalexplosion also.   I used to hate love songs,
until I broke up with the girl I'd loved for 13 years.  Then all that stuff made sense to me all of a sudden.  Ah, how oblivious
I was before my heart was broken.  That's why God put pretty girls on this earth for right? To break guys hearts?  Seems
that way.  So the bitter sweet lyrics, with stuff like "hold me forever no matter what." Man, as big as a wimp as it makes
me look, that stuff gets to me now!  Ha ha ha  The vocals are so sad and yearning too, lots of emotion there.
The music is straight forward post / pop punk, emotionally driven rock.
Aweekinjuly have a good CD here, but man
if you've broken up with anybody recently, don't listen to this CD you'll get way sentimental, nostalgic and depressed!
Ha ha ha Most likely this is the intended effect, like most emotional music.  Good sound, good lyrics = good CD.
Fans of emotional stuff will love this CD, as will people who just enjoy some quality rock.  Some of this could possibly
make it to popular radio.
