G.F.Y. (Go Fuck Yourself) - 'Till The Day We Die
The authentic New York City Hardcore sound. This band is the real deal. The music is
original, yet remains rooted in NYHC tradition. The vocals are over the top and in your face.
The CD has a great sound and the music is a mix of old school and new school styling.
My favorite song is One Family, for the opening riff and vocal line. As always, the Wasteland Zine test
is that if I put on the CD and then feel like breaking everything in my house, then the CD's a winner.
Ha ha ha I smashed a chair against the wall the first time I listened to this one!
Definitely gets the ass-kickin' CD award. GFY has one hell of a hardcore CD here.
They also are heavily involved in the scene, playing lots of shows. Go check them out and
if you want real NYHC, pick up the CD.
Keep an eye out for possible inclusion on the Wasteland Compilation #1.
