Minority Report - DVD
Oh boy!  Another "its really the cops and the military/industrial complex who are evil and not the unfairly accused
criminals" plot.  Whether this is set in the NY in the 70s, Los Angeles in the 40s or Washington DC in the future, well
its still the same lackluster "plot" that Hollywood liberals have peddled for years.  Well, there is of course another
tried and true Hollywood liberal  theme here as well; mistrust of new technology.  Besides the flashy, but sparse
special effects, this movie just flat out sucks.  It has nothing new to say, no new plot vectors to concern yourself
with.  Actually nothing new to offer at all.  Just think of the last movie you saw, wherein the cop winds up fighting
other cops, since in the mind of a Hollywood "progressive" there are no true criminals, besides those in authority.
Oh and by the way, the last time a jet backpack was exciting, was in Thunderball!  Lame!
Not to mention "scene placement" commercials for just about every cheesy product you can imagine.
If you've seen Blade Runner, The Fifth Element, Gattaca, Total Recall or even the cheesy movie Freejack,
you've seen all of this movie's futurisms already and those films have done much better than this pale imitation has to offer.
Screw this DVD.  I'm going to sell it for like three bucks in my used CD bin at the next show I set up at.
Minority? This is more like in the majority of modern films... IT SUCKS.  Just another Hollywood vehicle to
push anti-police, anti-government, anti-technology views. I prefer to think for myself, rather than be indoctrinated by
guys who drive Bentlys, own multimillion dollar homes and private jets, yet tell me being rich is bad and that the
system set up to protect people like me, from people like them is bad as well. Yhea OK!   If the law did not exist,
the rich would get away with even more than they do now.  Let's see I guess Spielberg knows better than we do huh?
How could he be wrong, look how rich he is?  So if we do away with our justice system and slow technology, then what?
Oh! I know, then the rich would rule us like the old time royalty and we would have to continue to spend money buying
their outdated technology.  Sounds like a plan... NOT! Skip this garbage, don't put one more buck in this loser's pocket.
Dreamworks
