The other bands were rockin' and the beer was cold. Oh yhea!
That's always cool. We sounded good and played well. I didn't
set up the merch table that night, not a lot of room in that place.
I like Dingbatz, its close to my house, the people that run it are cool
and it has a decent sized stage.

Sparely attended show. This could have been because
of the f'ing hurricane that was going on outside!
I had picked up my old rig, JCM 800 Master Volume head and
Boss OD1 pedal from Stan ATG's house after it had been there almost
a year. So what the F? I would use it for this show. Of course, for
the first time in 12 years my OD1 pedal is busted. I had left my
tools at home of course, so i groveled for a screwdriver, opened the thing up
and fixed it with some duct tape. Ha ha ha not my proudest moment.
The show was fun to play, but I was in a damn bad mood that night for some
reason. .

Etc...
Back to the Skate Park at Mountain Creek being attacked by every variety of
insect rural Sussex County has to offer!
I mean there were mosquitoes, swarming ants, wasps and big fuckin' green things
I've never seen before. Not to mention
the giant crickets and the foot long slug. Ha ha ha
Seriously though, the show was great. I had so much fun just hanging out
at my table, catching a few bands.
KBM sounded so good, I actually got into the pit a little! Ha ha ha I have
photographic proof!
My friend Jeff Pilgrim got some great pictures, which I'll be posting shortly.
I would recommend seeing shows at this place. it's outdoors, friendly and fun.
Plus if you skate, bring your board and
do a little skating while you're at it.

MORE TBA
--- OK first off, the Wreck Room is a
cool place in that they let people dance however they want, they gave me free
cokes,
the sound system is great and the crowd is pretty cool and laid back. They
also get some points for having the little outside area you can hang out in
when the noise and smoke get too much for you. OK now the bad part. The
place fucking stinks man. STINKS!!!! There's some sort of problem
with the water system, sulfur in the water or something like that and it makes
the bathrooms stink to high heaven. Seriously man, that shit's enough to
gag a maggot. Ha ha ah. The bands were all cool, although I only saw two
of them since I got lost getting there. Got there right after KBM's first
song
The band after them was really good. Old school, in the line of Sheer Terror
style stuff. Very good band. Had a good time.

This was a good show. First one I went to in a while with my table of

Blood, Dream Torn Apart and A Night To Remember.
OK first of all I was a bit uncomfortable at this show, because there was a
strange mix of very young fans and guys my age looking very
scuzzy in an emo/straightedge mutated kind of way. Whatever! The
first couple bands were not all that memorable, playing the typical
blend of riff based hardcore-metal. Paid In Blood however
were impressive, with their tight mix of new and old school hardcore. A touch
of metal here and there, but mostly just a good hardcore band.
Killed BY Memories kicked ass as usually, easily the heaviest band of
the
night. This was a
CD release show mainly for their friends etc... The CD is ready, but not
quite released yet. Ha ha ha so look for another CD
release show in the near future sponsored by Faction Zero Recordings.
Oh and once again it was
around
300 fucking degrees in this place. Ever hear of a fucking FAN?!?!?!? Ha ha ha
In all though, not a bad place to play. I relaxed after a
bit, got acclimated to the posers/ heat and enjoyed the other bands.

When I finally got there, I went in for a couple minutes, Arson was playing, but
the place was so hot and
smelly, that I said "fuck it" and went to the bar across the street with the KBM
guys and then just
split. The place didn't seem all that bad, but it was around 300 degrees
in there, and somebody's
Right Guard had taken a left, if you know what I'm sayin' Why did KBM go
on first? Fuck if
I know. They should have been given a better slot.

3-29-03: Killed By Memories -
At Mountain Creek - Vernon NJ -
Snowboard Festival.
KBM was cancelled from the bill
as the management of Mountain Creek did not want hardcore
bands to play. Oh well, I guess they can get Good Charlotte or some other
authentic punk bands to play.

High School
REDLINE,

PROSPECT AVE.
Ok now I was not able to make it to this one due to a friend's "going away"
dinner. So this is info I got second hand.
First, you have to ask yourself, what kind of dumb ass principal would allow a
hardcore show at their school? Duh!
So apparently Killed Be Memories plays and these young kids start dancing and
going crazy. The Principal starts yelling
at everyone to stop dancing! Ha ha ha Anyways, Killed By Memories is done
with their set, and the school officials
tell everyone that there will be no more dancing. So Redline goes on and
there's one kid who refuses to stop dancing.
In come the cops, the kid gets arrested and Redline's set is cut off! What
the fuck? So there ya go. The guys said besides that,
it was a pretty good show!
3-1-03:
Killed By Memories -
Screwie's in Kearny
OK Screwie's is a cool enough place, but I still have no idea who the other
bands that played were.
They were heavy metal for sure and were not memorable. It was a good night
for me however as I sold
lots of Faction Zero and Killed By Memories stuff. Killed BY Memories made
a couple new fans, which is always
a good thing.
2-15-03:
KILLED BY MEMORIES,
IRATE ,
GFY,
BILLYCLUB SANDWICH,
WAGE OF SIN,
BEHIND THE SUN,
SLUDGE. Fatso's - North Arlington. Pretty good show. Not all
that many people there though.
Two of the bands cancelled, due to weather conditions in the Southern
part of
NJ/PA. GFY were probably my favorite (after KBM that is) band of
the night. Good old school NYHC style. Behind The Sun was an
all female band and were also kind of impressive. They donated a bra for
the bar at Fatso's bra collection. Good guitar / bass playing and a nice heavy
sound. Plus they're easy on the eyes, which is always a good thing!
ha ha ha Fatso's is a cool place. Right now its 21 an over, but
according to Gordon, the promoter, it may soon be 18+ which should draw a larger
crowd.

2-8-03: Killed By Memories and Judge Drain at Screwy
Louie's Kearny Ave, Kearny.
OK last minute show here. The other two bands cancelled so KBM played to a
few friends
and bar patrons. The show was very good, with KBM playing a tight set as
usual. I sold a few
used CDs, so the night was not a complete loss. Good place to have shows
though.
18 to enter 21 to drink. Look for some Faction Zero Recordings nights
there soon.
KBM had fun tearing up a pit to Judge Drain's old school metal ha ha ha.
Its always a good time when everyone has fun.
2-2-03: Killed By Memories and a bunch of Ferret Records
bands such as Scarlet, Rise Over Run, Static Lullaby, Nora
at Krome. Holy Emo Batman! Wow. Although some of the
bands that played shared some musical influences with KBM,
the attitude was 100% different. Lots of rock stars for sure. You
know, when I grow up I want to be a rock star.
Or at least a douche bag with a funny hair cut and nerd glasses. Ha ha ha I had
to split after the third or fourth band,
they all sounded good, but not my style for sure. Sold a few KBM shirts
and a few KBM demos. Lots of chicks there,
which is cool in a way, but lame in a way too! ha ha ha KBM opened,
and played well, but they should have been given a better slot.

12-17-02: Killed By Memories,
Beyond The Bridge,
Misery Signal, Remembering Never,
Every Time I Die and more.
Krome, South Amboy, Wasteland. First time I went to Krome. The pretty cool
laid back atmosphere. Not sure what's up with paying for parking, I said fuck
that noise and parked out back by the firehouse. Killed By Memories brought
around 60 fans, who tore up the floor. KBM sounded the best I've heard
them so far, playing a few new songs along with stuff from their demo. The
other bands were cool too, good night of metal core bands. All were heavy. I sold all the KBM demos I had. Ha ha ha next time I'll make
more. Great show!!! KBM definitely made
some new fans. Krome info:

12-6-02: This Killed By Memories show at Screwy Louie's was
canceled due to a snow storm.
12-8-02: Killed By Memories At the Fone Booth in Franklin. Great
show for Killed By Memories.
There was lots of vicious dancing going on during their set. Flatus kicked
ass too and
A band called the Butcher Boys did some excellent old school Misfits type punk.
Also playing, representing the WAAYY old school were Headwound a good
old style punk band. . I did not catch the first three bands, but I heard
they were good too.
Cool scene at the Fone Both, shows are put together by Ted Flatus.
Big thanks to him for putting on a great show.
11-17-02: Against The Grain at Fatso's, North Arlington..
This show went very well. KBM could not play due to
an illness in the band.
However Flash Productions brought in some other bands and it was a cool
show
Thanks goes out to Brandon of Flash for helping us out with the show. Of
note was that two
members of Between The Lines were there to check out the ATG show. Thanks for
checking us out bros!
Also NY Conflict played a good old-school Sheer Terror style of hardcore,
good
band, check those
guys out if you get the chance!
